Each program in the School of Nursing and Health Professions provides many options for clinical and field experiences where you will use the skills you learn in the classroom in real-world settings.

Dr. Brigid Noonan received her bachelor’s in behavioral science at University College in Maryland and both her master’s in rehabilitation counseling and her Ph.D. in counselor education at the University of Maryland, College Park. A counselor educator since 1995, she is a licensed clinical professional counselor, and has held a variety of administrative and clinical positions inside and outside higher education.
Dr. Noonan joined Trinity as the Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions in 2021 and has since launched several new in-demand programs as well as maintained adherence to accreditation standards of all programs in the unit. In additional to academic integrity and innovation, mentoring students and faculty is one of Dr. Noonan’s greatest joys!
