Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

Angela Anderson has been a nurse for 18 years and is currently a nurse practitioner in Trinity’s health center, where she helps to improve the health outcomes of the university’s students. She previously worked as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner at Georgetown Home Care. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) from Trinity in 2011 and went on to receive her master of science in nursing from Catholic University in 2015.

She works directly with patients within their homes to assess their plan of care post discharge from the hospital. She ensures they understand their discharge instructions, medication regimen and ongoing necessary medical care.

She has been active in her community as a Girl Scout leader, a volunteer at local shelters and worked with her children’s school parent teacher organization.
