Trinity featured at Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Business Expo
As Washington, D.C.’s only Hispanic Serving Institution as designated by the U.S. Department of Education, Trinity recruited at a major event.
Trinity, the only Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) in the nation’s capitol, recruited new students for our life-changing programs as an exhibitor and the only featured local University at the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, Thursday, March 28, at the Washington Convention Center.
The U.S. Department of Education defines an HSI as an institution that “has an enrollment of undergraduate full-time-equivalent students that is at least 25 percent Hispanic and satisfies criteria for percentage of needy students and expenditures per full-time-equivalent undergraduate student.”
This event was also an incredible networking opportunity for current Trinity students, as well as an opportunity to represent the nationally respected social justice work and top tier educational programs of our storied institution.
The Business Expo was free to the public. For more information, please see this link: https://www.gwhcc.org/business-expo.html.
