Trinity makes your investment affordable by keeping tuition low and providing generous grants, scholarships and other forms of financial aid.

  • Trinity’s tuition is the lowest among private universities in the Washington region;
  • 100% of Trinity’s full-time undergraduates receive financial aid, with many receiving grants and scholarships that cover almost all tuition and even some living expenses;
  • Professional undergraduates and graduate students may be eligible for grants and other forms of financial aid; many employers have tuition support programs as well.

Helping You Discover Your Strength

Trinity takes pride in its culture of care! If you need help of almost any kind, Trinity is here to support your unique needs – through emergency student assistance grants, we can help you afford your text books, transportation, and more.

We support you with challenges of managing the conflicting demands of school, work and family. Many students benefit from our counseling and academic support services that give extra encouragement when needed. The Student Parent Alliance provides a safe space for parents to communicate, discuss challenges and hardships, celebrate our joys and achievements, and advocate for a welcoming environment on campus.

Health and Wellness

Your health and wellness is a priority for Trinity! Promote your physical and emotional wellbeing by join one of our five NCAA Division III sports teams, or take cardio classes and exercise at the Trinity Center, our fully-equipped gym.

Conveniently located on campus, our Health and Wellness Center offers medical services, counseling, immunizations, and wellness classes.

Engagement and Clubs

Participate in Student Government and clubs – a great way to connect with your Trinity sisters, have fun, and hone leadership skills! Have ideas for campus events? These student-led groups are your chance to do so.

Develop journalism skills and develop stories about the latest campus happenings by writing for The Trinity Times, our online student newspaper – and improve your writing and critical thinking skills.

Spirituality and Community Service

Drawing on Trinity’s Catholic foundation, the Campus Ministry office nourishes your spirit and faith with  interfaith activities that support your spiritual development!

Career Development

Workshops and job fairs organized by Trinity’s Office of Career Services provides career planning services to prepare you for a successful transition from college to career. It also offers assistance with resume writing, interview preparation and job placements.

Internships are an essential part of Trinity’s many major programs and provide networking opportunities and many lead to rewarding careers!

Advocacy and Activism

Trinity supports students who have interests in engaging in activism! You will have opportunities for internships and fellowships at social-justice, environmental, economic organizations creating real change in our world. Campus organizations such as the Black Student Alliance, and Butterfly Network, – Trinity’s support network for undocumented students – are among our most active clubs, and are just two examples way in which students are using their voices to propel social change.

Food and Housing

Living on-campus is cost-effective and one of the best ways to engage in campus life! You’ll live in one of four on-campus residence halls, with professional resident coordinators who provide mentoring, support and fun activities like karaoke, ice cream socials, and a book club.

Choose from two dining options on campus. The centrally-located dining hall offers all-you-care-to-eat meals with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, as well as a beautiful space to gather with friends and dine with your professors. The grab-and-go deli in Main Hall is a convenient option when you’re on your way to class.

Meet the Dean

Dr. Ramamurti received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics in India and her doctoral degree from George Washington University before joining Trinity’s faculty in 1997. She has a strong interest in reform and policy initiatives in K-12 education.

Dr. Ramamurti held several leadership roles at Trinity before being appointed as the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences in 2017.  Since then, Dean Ramamurti has spearheaded a revitalization of the College of Arts and Sciences program offerings as well as launched the Early College Academy and the Advanced Technical Center partnership programs for DC High School students.
