- Cristina Lynch is Director of Trinity at THE ARC, a branch of Trinity within Southeast D.C. Throughout her professional career, she has been an avid student advocate whose motto is “Building Futures Today.” As director, she is responsible for assisting adult students successfully complete an Associate’s Degree in General Studies as well as seamlessly transition to the main campus. Mrs. Lynch possesses a Bachelor’s of Science in Systems Organizations Management and a Master’s of Art in Community Agency Counseling from Hampton University. In addition to being a Hampton graduate, she comes to Trinity from Hampton University where she served for 17 years combined in various capacities such as Director of Upward Bound, Director of the Annual Fund, and Director of the Student Success Center.

Trinity Washington University provides affordable and convenient classes at its satellite location at the Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus (THEARC) in Southeast, DC. Trinity is the only private university offering college-courses east of the Anacostia.
At THEARC, Trinity offers three degree programs designed to meet the specific needs of working professionals who balance career, family, and other commitments: t
- REPLACE WITH GRID
- Associate of Arts in General Studies
- Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education
- Associate of Arts in Health Services
61 credit hours – required for all associate of arts degree programs – the equivalent of 20 classes. Technically can be completed in two years, but that’s more than the recommended 2 classes per semester = 3.5 years, but don’t say this, it freaks them out.
Trinity also offers a Community Healthcare Worker Certificate program at THEARC – 6 classes (3 in fall, 3 in spring), 18 credit hours, for an expedited certificate in less than a year.
Students who graduate with an associate’s degree from Trinity at THEARC can pursue a bachelor’s degree from one of the many degree programs offered at the University’s main campus.

Tuition
- Classes are $195 per credit hour – Most courses are 3 credits, thus costing $585. (the ENVS 101 course is 4 credits total, $780)

Other Requirements That May Incur Costs
- Wi-Fi – Seeing as many academic platforms are now online, reliable Wi-Fi access is essential for college students. To fully participate in classes, complete assignments, and access campus resources, students are encouraged to ensure they have consistent internet access.
- Equipment – Additional fees may also include technological equipment necessary to fully participate in coursework and program activities. The university is committed to student success and thereby provides Chromebooks to students in need who are eligible. For those who are not eligible for a free Chromebook, Trinity has arranged special pricing for laptops and software.
- Quiet Place to Participate in Virtual Classes – To help increase academic success, students are encouraged to participate in online classes and complete assignments in calm and distraction-free environments.
- Course-specific fees – e.g. lab supplies, art materials, software licenses, printing
- Childcare – Children cannot comes to in-person classes or be left unattended at THEARC, so consider this when budgeting for your education

Transferring to Trinity's Main Campus

- To continue at Trinity to pursue a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree, complete Trinity’s online application. There is no fee required.
- Request copy of your high school and any other transcripts to be sent to Admissions – no fee required, internal request. You can request a copy of your transcript to be sent through self-service.
- Meet with a School of Professional Studies advisor to discuss your chosen major, academic plan and course schedule.
- Visit with various campus offices to complete tasks for the upcoming semester: Enrollment Services, Campus Safety, and Bookstore.
- Attend New Student Orientation.
