Maintain Your Certification

Trinity’s Office of Continuing Education offers courses for teachers and education professionals in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia areas seeking graduate-level courses to maintain certification requirements. Courses are offered in an intensive format to fit the schedules of busy educators.

Each credit bearing course awards three graduate level credits at a tuition rate of $530 per course.

Register for a Course:

  1. Log into our Self-Service registration system with your Trinity login. If you do not have a Trinity Login, request one.
  2. Click Registration at the top of the page, then click Continuing Education.
  3. In the Search bar, type in the course number (EX: EDU 530B) and push enter/return on your keyboard.
  4. Click the Add button for your course – it will show up in your cart on the right side of the screen.
  5. Click Register and then click Pay Now to complete payment.

Note: Adding a course to your cart does not reserve a space in the course. Registration is not complete until the payment is processed. Please contact our office at 202-884-9300 or ContinuingEd@trinitydc.edu if you need registration assistance.

Tuition and Fees

Standard tuition for all graduate-level credit courses is $530 per course.

Tuition if you register yourself online through Self-Service is $480 per credit course.

late registration fee of $50 will be charged to students whose registration materials are received (not postmarked) less than seven calendar days prior to the first day of class.

drop fee of $50 will be charged to students who drop a course and need a refund. Please note that courses must be dropped by the first day of class by submitting an Add/Drop/Withdraw Form.

Catholic School Teachers

Teachers who work for Catholic schools pay a discounted tuition rate of $400 per course.  To receive this discount, students must submit an official letter from their principal which states that the student is a teacher with a Catholic school along with the $400 tuition upon registration.  This verification letter must be submitted each semester in which a student registers for a class.

This special rate is subject to change and is not available for online registration.  To receive this discount, Catholic school teachers must email our office to request a paper registration form: ContinuingEd@trinitydc.edu.
