Philosophy
I believe that teaching at the University level is about helping students to d evelop t heir analytical capabilities. In that sense, whether students are interested in the subjects we focus on in Political Science is irrelevant; the actual substance we focus on only matters to the extent that it helps students to learn to ask questions and challenge information that is presented to them, as well as drives them to seek better information and be curious.
