Kristen Pruski ’11

Sibley Memorial Hospital
Kristen Pruski is Vice President of the Foundation at Sibley Memorial Hospital, a role she has held since 2020 after nearly a decade of progressive leadership at the institution. In this capacity, she directs all philanthropic activity for the hospital, including identifying principal and major gift opportunities, engaging clinical staff in grateful patient fundraising, collaborating with leadership at the Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine, and overseeing the development team and the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. She first joined Sibley in 2011 as Associate Vice President and has helped shape the hospital’s fundraising strategy through a period of significant growth and institutional change.
Pruski’s entire career has been dedicated to healthcare philanthropy. Before Sibley, she spent more than five years at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, where she rose from Director of Annual Giving and Events to Interim Executive Director of the Foundation. She began her career at West Penn Allegheny Health System in her hometown of Pittsburgh. A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), she brings deep expertise in donor cultivation, campaign strategy, and the operational side of hospital foundations. She was instrumental in securing a major grant from the Clark Foundation to support a partnership between Sibley and Trinity for the Nursing Bridge Scholarship Program, reflecting her ability to connect institutional missions with philanthropic investment.
Pruski holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in Leadership Development from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Administration in Nonprofit Management from Trinity Washington University.
