Kristen L. Hogue, DVM ’06

Practice Owner and Veterinarian

Animal Medical Center of Watkins Park

Dr. Kristen Hogue worked at the Animal Medical Center of Watkins Park as a veterinary assistant while attending Trinity. Today, she owns the practice! After she earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Trinity in 2006 and earned her doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) degree from Cornell University, Dr. Hogue returned to Maryland to complete an internship at the Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Center in Annapolis. She has worked in several local small animal hospitals in Maryland.

In 2018, she came back and joined the Animal Medical Center of Watkins Park as an associate veterinarian and worked with her long-term mentor Dr. Susan Maturo while serving the surrounding communities of Upper Marlboro and Bowie.

In March, 2020, she purchased the practice and has been on the journey of practice ownership since then. Learn more about the Animal Medical Center of Watkins Park, the veterinary practice she now owns, here.
