Congratulations Class of 2024!
Trinity celebrated its 121st commencement with two ceremonies held May 17 and 18, 2024. Despite rainy conditions, hundreds of family and friends gathered to applaud the graduates as they received their degrees. More than 360 graduates comprise the class of 2024 – most received their diplomas in this spring celebration, while others already received theirs during Trinity’s winter graduation.

During the ceremony held Friday, May 17, degrees were presented to students in the School of Professional Studies, the School of Business and Graduate Studies, and the School of Education.
The soon-to-be graduates were addressed by Ms. Chaka Asaskiwa Alexander ’24, summa cum laude who congratulated her classmates on their incredible accomplishment. Speeches were also given by Dean Thomas Mostowy of the School of Professional and Graduate Studies, and Dean Christine Gorowara of the School of Education. Despite intermittent rain, the commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18th was held outside to accommodate as many family and friends as possible. Degrees were presented to graduates of the Early College Academy, the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Nursing and Health Professions, including 23 dreamers. The President of the Red Class of 2024, Ms. Karla Lizeth Núñez Pérez ’24 — summa cum laude and a dreamer herself — gave a rousing speech to her fellow graduates, while the deans and the president deferred their comments given the weather, allowing degree presentations to begin more quickly.
