Karen Comfort graduated this past May from American University with a Master of Public Administration, where she was inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration.  This past April, she became a published author when her first book, “A Poor Girl Who Became the Mother of Life-An Inspirational Look at the Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus.” was released by Zion Publishing House and it became the #1 New Release on Amazon under the Christian Adult Ministry Category.

Ashley Thomas

Ashley Thomas graduated from Trinity Washington University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She was able to graduate with a full-time job within the DC government. She was able to work within her field and earn a promotion upon graduating and couldn’t be happier. Six months after graduating, she began classes at Catholic University as a grad student. She left Trinity with a seven-year-old son and now he has a three-month-old brother. They are both amazing and very smart. She is pursuing all of her goals and showing them that they can do it all at the same time. She is a proud Trinity Alumna.
