Margaret “Maggie” Paynich Goldman married David Goldman on October 20, 2018 in a Jewish ceremony at the King & Prince Resort on St. Simons Island, GA. Her maid of honor was her Trinity sister, Leah Martin; and Eileen Denny Ward and Michelle Mitchell (’06) were in attendance. Dr. Shelley Tompkin was the bride’s ketubah witness, agreeing to be available in support of the couple in their marriage and in the practice of Judaism. Margaret (now Maggie) and David live in the Grant Park neighborhood of Atlanta with their pitbull Lily. Maggie has a growing real estate business which has sold over 80 homes for over $25 million in the last four years. Her business has grown significantly through her education and advocacy of helping residents reduce their property taxes, making use of her BA in political science. David recently took a position with Intuitive Surgical which makes the popular surgical robotic system DaVinci. In early 2019, Maggie and David received certification from the American Sailing Association to operate sail boats up to 50ft in length. They look forward to traveling to various islands around the world and chartering sailboats and creating their own sailing vacations for a truly personalized trip.

Eileen Denny Ward and her family relocated to the Seattle suburbs, and are absolutely loving living in the PNW. Her husband loves his job at Microsoft, and she is cherishing this time as a stay-at-home mom. The past year allowed lots of opportunities to see Trinity sisters. While traveling to Boston, she and her daughter were able to visit Benita Harris Rivera. Mariette Largess (‘06) visited Eileen in Seattle in the fall, and Eileen had a blast playing host and tour guide. She took a fantastic trip to Atlanta in January 2018 to visit her freshman roommate Maggie Paynich Goldman, and then again to St. Simon’s Island in October for Maggie’s absolutely gorgeous beach wedding. Eileen was able to spend the day with Johanna Herman at Emerald City Comic Con. She loves that the friendships she made in college still remain such an important part of her life.
